Pain

Pain.
No one really deserves it.
I do know it makes us stronger -so much stronger- if we just listen to it, learn from it, embrace it.
And no one can escape pain. We all get hurt, time and time again we get kicked in the face.
Life is cruel, unfair, a pain in the arse. In times it really seems to enjoy to see us suffer, to see us in pain.
And still we triumph, still we pick ourselves up, face every hit head on. We fall over and over again, and still we get up. We still fight back.
Fearing pain is as stupid as fearing the rain. Pain teaches us important lessons, teaches us how to survive. Teaches us how to be happy.

And yet I fear.
Fear because I, as so many others, have to be the one that causes pain.
And I despise myself for it.
